Leibniz Talents
The LUH presidium is honouring outstanding academic accomplischments aswell as special commitment by giving students the Leibniz Talents award. In both categories sustainability topics can be included, for example by including one of the 17 UN sustainable development goals in your paper or by supporting the sustainability goals of the LUH. The prices are between 200 and 500€. Click here for more information.

LUH teaching price
There are three categories for the LUH teaching price. In the second one professors who are imparting important topics (like for example parts of the SDGs, diversity, digitalisation,...) in their teaching are being honoured. Also commitment for the topic off-campus is being rewarded.

Price for sustainable mobility
We are looking for creative ideas and concepts for sustainable mobility in and around Hannover. Technical aswell as organisational ideas are possible. The idea needs to be submitted as a written concept, complemented by pictures, videos, posters etc. There are prices to win worth 4000€ in total. Click here for more information.

Stadtradeln - City Cycling
Sign up, ride your bike and protect the environment! Stadtradeln is a competition with the goal to go as many kilometers as possible by bike in the 21 days of the competition. The goal is to minimize CO2 emissions and to draw attention to the necessary changes in the bike- infrastructure of Hannover! Jugend- Klima- Wettbewerb - Youth Climate Competition
The Lower Saxony Ministry for Environment, Energy and Climate Protection is helping young people to implement climate protection ideas and projects. Two times a year the "Jugend-Klima-Wettbewerb Niedersachsen" takes place. You can hand in your project ideas and win fundings up to 200.000 euros. In total there are 500.000 euros available each year to fund the projects.
