Abstract

This dissertation contributes to understanding the linkage between ethnicity, gender, and body preferences, as well as between ethnicity, gender, and drink choice. It relates its fndings to potential implications for health policy in the context of rising global obesity rates. It focuses on the island of Trinidad, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
