Abstract

This paper deals with the measurements of circulating currents in a downsized hydro generator on a test bench. Therefore, the specimen and the needed adjustments of the machine are pointed out in order to draw conclusions for full-sized hydro generators. The results of open and short circuit are compared to an analytical calculation method and discussed.
