Abstract

The following article presents the current state of the German implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the field of education, focused on the school. In the convention, an inclusive education system is demanded. For this reason, this demand is viewed upon precisely and a basic understanding of inclusion (in school) should be found. The implementation in the other areas of the education system is illuminated in short highlights. Finally, current and future challenges of implementing an inclusive education system are presented.
