The Department of Buildings Management with its staff units Energy Management and Environmental Management is responsible for the implementation of a sustainable energy supply strategy and a sustainable campus concept.
With its building-related tasks, the Buildings Management department supports the primary processes of research, teaching and learning and continuing education at the university. Buildings management bundles all tasks and functions related to infrastructure, buildings and building technology. The department organises and implements energy management in all buildings of the University of Hannover and oversees the energetic renovation of existing and new buildings.
